So I left work early yesterday so I could go home & try to sleep it off before it caught up with me... I failed. I'm sick. Granted, I think it's just a bad cold, but it did have my stomach messed up all night (fun). I do not want to be at work today, but I have a lot to do to try and finalize our marketing campaign before we start launching it on Monday. Hopefully, we can get it all done and I won't have to be here all day. We'll see.
No kids this weekend!! WOOHOO!! As of about 8:00 last night, stormy and I are childless until Sunday. :) Don't get me wrong, I love our kids, but it sure is nice to have some alone time. It only happens a couple times a year, so it is very much looked forward to.
Last night was Pajama night at the Junkyard. I had the coolest Cookie Monster PJs with CM talking slippers, but I found out that several ppl were wearing CM stuff, plus Dina had sent stormy a link to PJs with feet (Thanks Dina!!) and I HAD to have those. Those were my favorite PJs as a kid. I loved going to spend the night with my grand parents and sliding all over the house on their lineoleum. They had a long hallway that was great for skating on. :) I seriously think that if I could find PJs with feet in them in my size, I'd buy a pair today. I wonder if stormy would think that's sexy? LOL
So tonight, is stormy and my night to host at the yard. Our theme is "Pimp & Ho" night. LOL I got the coolest pimp outfit yesterday. It's full of bling, all the way down to the grillz. lol Metal gave me a purple Caddy last night. It's not driveable, but it has sexual pose balls, so that'll work too. lol Plus, the purple color will match my purple pimp suit. LOL
I think tomorrow night, stormy and I are going to have a date. Dunno what we'll do yet, but something out of the ordinary.
I don't know how many people read this, but I need to ask a favor of you. My very close friend Brigid is having some problems in RL and I would like you to keep her in your thoughts and prayers. She needs them I'm sure. Brigid, hang in there darlin'... Tomorrow is a brighter day.

Hey Iron...I'm sorry you're still feeling so crummy. Hopefully you'll be able to get lots of rest this weekend and get over the bug.
We had a long hallway with a wood floor in one of the houses I lived in as a kid. I used to skate down the hallway in my socks and footie pj's too...I loved it! We had a puppy that would slide down the hallway with us...it was too funny.
