That was our island in the early sunrise. I took this and emailed it to stormy at work. I named it "Wish you were here". Just after I sent it, I get a phone call from her... she was on her way home. YIPPEE!!! Well, sorta. Her tummy wasn't feeling very good so she was coming home early. I hated that she was sick, but at least I got to spend the afternoon with My stormy. :) We spent the rest of the day working on the island and then that night, we hung out at the Junkyard (of course).
Saturday, we slept late. I didn't get up until noon. Dang it felt good. :) Again, we were back on the island working. It was really starting to shape up. We had gotten feedback from some of our friends like Kiff & Dina as well as Metal and Mir. In RL, My ex was getting remarried (again) and so My daughters were in the wedding. stormy and I were supposed to go, but stormy still wasn't feeling top notch, so we didn't. My dad went and he brought My girls back to his house (about 1/2 way between where I live and where they live). So, late Sat. night, I went to pick them up. When we got back, they wanted to lay in "dads' big bed" and snuggle before they went to bed (yes, they have Me wrapped around their little fingers, lol). Of course, stormy was in SL and was partying with everybody on Mir's island. They all knew I was there, but couldn't login until the girls went to bed. So... what did Mir do? She goes topless! WTF? How cruel is she? lol Anyway, I ended up putting the girls to bed and logging in and we had an awesome time dancing, chatting and just hanging out on the island with everyone.
Sunday was a mix of RL and SL. I had to tend to the girls and get them home along with helping on the island. Just as I was beginning to think we were finished with the island, we get an IM from our landlord saying that a larger island has opened up (over 4600 M2). We jump on it. Yeah, it's a little more rent, but it's HUGE and it's in the back corner of the sim so we have no neighbors on 2 sides and the other 2 sides are some incredible friends... Mir and Metal. How could we go wrong? So as I'm taking the girls home, stormy finalizes everything and as soon as I get home, we start moving the island. Yes... over 3 days work all torn down in less than 5 minutes. And now we start over. lol
We got a little work done, but not much. stormy thinks she can build us a house. So far, it's just a foundation, but she talked to some other ppl and got some ideas to help make it easier. I have a few other small projects that I've started working on and if it all comes out like we're thinking it will, it's gonna be friggin' AWESOME! But, after so much working in the past several days, we decided we needed a break last night so we changed clothes and went out with Mir & Metal. We had a great time! Didn't really do anything special, just kicked around most of the night, hanging out and even doing some shopping. It was a blast, Mir & Metal are damn good people... but, we already knew that. :)
Ok, time for RL & work. It's not so bad, at least I'm working on .NET stuff instead of LAMP stuff like Metal is. LOL
