Ok, so I don't know who invented the C-Pap machine, but I'd buy them a beer if I did. As most of you know, I picked up my new C-Pap machine yesterday afternoon. I was like a kid at Christmas, except instead of not wanting to go to sleep, I wanted to. :) SL was acting up on me, my friends list wasn't working and I didn't feel like going to the Junkyard, so I logged off around 9:00 or so and watched TV to wind down a bit. At 10:00, I put on my C-Pap mask and that's pretty much the last thing I remember. I was out.
At some point during the night, I took it off. The guy yesterday said it'd take me a week or so to get used to wearing it before I made it all night with it. Anyway, I put it back on around 4:00 or so and when the alarm went off at 5:45, I was really out. Any deeper, and the alarm wouldn't have woken me up.
I've tried to call my girls for the past 2 days and I can't get through to them. They have VoIP and it's the crappiest service I've ever seen. Anyway, my ex calls me late last night and my oldest has almost ripped her fingers off. She was at the computer last night and was pulling her chair up closer to the desk when her fingers got caught between the seat and the base as she was sitting down. She said that fingers on both hands were messed up pretty bad. A couple were missing skin and missing the tip of one. Of course, she didn't call to tell me any of this until well after it was over and they were in the bed. Yes, I fussed. First, because she didn't call me and tell me, or let me talk to the girls. Second, for not taking her to the Dr. if it really was as bad as she said it was.
She called me a few minutes ago and they are at the Dr.'s office. He wasn't worried about how they are, he said they should heal up with no problems. He did bandage them up and put splints on them so she won't bump them.
Ok, gotta get busy. Boss is leaving Saturday for China (WOOHOO!!) and I won't be here tomorrow (Work at home Friday) so I have a lot to do today.
