My Birthday...

Yet another milestone has come and gone with great success. I wasn't trying to hide it but I wasn't broadcasting it either, but yesterday was my birthday. I don't particularly like it when people make a big deal about it, it's just another day to me. But, it turned out to be a pretty great day.

At work, my bosses paid for lunch for everybody. It was wing & trivia day so lunch was great. I didn't win any trivia games, but I got a free lunch, so that rocked. When we got back to work, they had gotten a white chocolate & raspberry cake. I'm not a fan of white chocolate by any means, but this cake rocked.

After work, stormy and I went to dinner. Just us... no kids. It was really nice. She had gotten her hair done and she looked beautiful. As we were leaving to head home, I backed my new truck into a pole & dented the bumper. You talk about pissed. I was livid... Still am. grrrrr....

Anyway, when I got home and got online, Cas sent me an IM asking me if I wanted to DJ at the ER for a lil' while later that night. How could I resist? :) But first, it was Mir's night to host at the Junkyard. It was the Roaring 20's night. I put on my zoot suit & had to "back door" the system to get there because TP's were broken. I finally made it and to my surprise, they had birthday stuff up too. It was so cool. I have the best friends in SL anybody could ask for. I left the Junkyard and headed for the ER where I DJ'd from 8:30 until around 10:15 or so. I was trying to go until 10:30 which is when the other DJ was coming on, but I just couldn't. It was 12:15 my time, I was exhausted and knew I had to get up in about 6 hours. I needed sleep.

Throughout the night, I had a great conversation with a new friend, Carmon. She's really great and fun to talk to. I also talked with another new friend for a lil' while, illie. She loves to give me a hard time. lol

Well, it's time to get to work, or at least pretend I am. I hope ya'll have an absolutely wonderful day and I'll see you soon!

Have you had your RDA?
