Winds of Change

WOW! What a weekend! For nothing to be going on, there was a TON happen this weekend.

Ok, so since I didn't post on Friday, I guess I'll start with Thursday night. I DJ'd happy hour at the ER (Blues Night). I think it went really well. There was a good crowd and several requests. I think everyone enjoyed themselves. After the ER, I DJ'd a party for Johnnie Izumi at his place. It was a great party, he had a really good turnout I think. I was joined there by two lovely ladies, Brigid & illie. I must say... those two are incredible company. Super sexy to look at, and wonderful to talk to. Thanks for joining me ladies... you made my night.

Friday night was the usual ER show and it went great. I was a lil' worried when I started & there were less than 1/2 a dozen people there, but it didn't take but just a few minutes & we were over 20. We ran the show until midnight. Another great show. After the show, I went to my new office that stormy has been working on so I could try on the new chair. I must say, she has done an AMAZING job with my office. I can't wait for everyone to see it. We're going to have a grand opening party when she's done. It's gonna be a sim crashing party. LOL We're gonna load it up!! :)

Saturday, after checking into SL for a few minutes & talking about a new project with some friends (more on that later), I spent as much time as possible with my daughters. We went to the movies & saw two movies... Charlotte's Web and Arthur & The Invisibles. Both of them were really good & we had a blast. All in all, we had a really good day together. After they went to bed, I DJ'd an open house party for Amber Matterhorn and her new club. Another smashing success I believe. I was joined by the lovely illie again and she kept me company while I took requests from everyone. Mars has some of the best requests. Great party music, but I gotta go way back in the vault to get some of them. Lots of fond (and not so fond) memories from junior high when I hear his music. LOL After a while, some of the Iron Clad Groupies joined us. First there was Wunderwyf and then she brought along Carlotta & Stu. Ya'll don't know how great it makes me feel when people follow me to events just so they can hear me DJ. I swear, I got the best groupies ever. :) After the show, I went back to the office and hung out with stormy, Lovecraft, Anna, and Falwynn for a while before heading to bed. It was a long night. I didn't get to sleep until after 5 am. (but I wasn't complaining). hehehe

Sunday was a fairly quiet day. I got on for a lil' while and watched stormy work on some wall art for the office before having to take the girls home. When I got back from taking them, I signed in and setup my calendar at the office. Once I got it figured out, it was really cool. Very cool lil' app. Other than going to buy the calendar, I don't think I went anywhere other than the office yesterday. I talked to some friends via IM and just hung out at the office. It was a really relaxing evening. I needed it.

Ok, so what about that new project? :) Well... A great friend of mine, Siennah (A.K.A. Needles, lol) introduced me to a friend of hers, Major. He is with a small record label in NYC. If you've been to any of my shows lately, I've been playing some songs from one of his artists, Wes Hutchinson. Well, what we're going to do is promote more of him and other lesser known artists in SL. Not only am I going to play them during my shows, but we're going to do live concerts as well. How cool is that??? I'm SOOOOO friggin' excited about it!!
