It's here.... Finally....

Happy Friday everyone. It's the best Friday all week! :) Not only is it the end of the week, but it's payday too!! WOOHOO!!! So how are ya? Good I hope.

So yesterday was a much better day at work, and hopefully that'll bleed over into today. So last night, I get home and sign on to SL and I had totally forgotten that Mir was opening her new cafe. For some reason I thought she was doing it later and I would be there because of my DJ gig. Anyway, I put on my suit and went to check it out. It is a really nice club. It looks great. I dunno why she put it on a PG sim, but hey... I doubt I'd get naked there anyway. :)

So the gig last night was at Johnnie Izumi's place and it was a costume party. Since I don't have a lot of spare time lately, I had very wonderful personal shopper find me a good costume. She did... Phantom of the Opera. Thank you illie. It was perfect. :) Illie went as Christine, but not the costume that was available in game. She wore an incredible purple dress. Wow. I was speechless.

Once we got to the party, we we joined by my best friend, Brigid. I must say, I've never been a real fan of the whole "silks" outfits, but wow... Brigid may have made me a believer last night. And purple too! You'd think all these ladies knew it was my fav. color or something. lol We were also joined by another great friend, Siennah. She didn't have a sexy purple outfit on, but who can resist a scantilly clad pirate? Well... unless she threatens you with her sword. lol

Later in the evening, after Brigid and Siennah had gone, and Johnnie had swept illie off her feet, "the Phantom" needed a dance partner. I have seen the lovely Hanjac at several parties lately, and she always had good requests. It took me a while to ask her to dance, but I finally did and we had a great conversation. And no, a tape doesn't always mean scotch tape. ;) lol

After the party, I went back to the island to change. Just before I logged off, I saw Angel come on. I IM'd her to make sure she still wanted me to do her party Saturday night. She was going to checkout the hut her builder had finished & wanted me to come see it too. Her builder has done an excellent job on the camp. Everything looks great. The coolest thing though, is the waterfall under Angel's hut. There's a hidden cave inside! How friggin' cool is that???

Well, all in all, it was a pretty good night. I think the party was another great success and we're going to do an 80's night next Thursday. Guess I need to go dust off some albums. :)
