Almost There... Almost There...

That's right, we're almost there... almost to the end of another week. I can't wait! I am SO ready for the weekend to be here. If someone wakes me up in the morning before I get up on my own... they will be dealt with... swiftly and painfully. Unless it's stormy and she wakes me up in her "special way"... I'll forgive her for that. LOL

So last night was my weekly House of Tunes show. When I get there, Anodyne tells me that Komosu (I think that's how ya spell it) does a live show there every-other Thursday at 8. Well, that's right in the middle of my show. Dangit. Anyway, Ano told me to start at 6:30 and run until 8. So I did. And of course, it was a great show. Started with less than 1/2 dozen people and in no time, we were over 25. I think everyone had a good time. I know I did.

So at 8:00, I let the live show take over and WOW. What a show! He totally rocks. He's an Australian that lives in Japan and plays an incredible slide guitar. If you ever get to check him out, do so. Awesome show.

There's going to be some really good stuff playing this weekend. Tonight is the usual beach party (you know you want to come). I don't remember anything being scheduled for Saturday (my calendar is in-game) but I know I'm going to go see the movie 300 at some point. On Sunday, there are two great shows. Reggae SunSplash at HoT Tropic (House of Tunes) from 2-4. Anodyne is playing from 2-3, and I'm playing from 3-4. Later that night, it's a "Southern Comfort" show at Aroha Island. Two hours of some of the best Southern Rock you've ever heard. I haven't been doing gigs on Mondays, but this week I have one. It's a place called "Pub aLive" and I'll be doing a blues show there from 6-8PM. You know I love the blues, so it should be a great show.
