It's The Weekend!!! (almost)

Morning all. So yesterday was a pretty hectic day around here. There were bad storms most of the day, several tornados and several deaths. A high school was hit in lower Alabama and 8 students were killed. It was a very sad day, but it could have been worse, I'm sure. My thoughts & prayers go out to those families.

With all the storms coming through, they sent us home from work early yesterday. I got home around 2:00 or so and logged into SL. About the time I got logged in, stormy got home... they had sent her home too. I had bought her a headset the other day so we set her up with Skype. Yes, we talked to each other for like 30 minutes... and we're 3 feet away from each other. LOL
I also talked to Rhonda for a few minutes via skype. Her husband is in the hospital. I hope he gets to come home soon. I'm thinking about ya darlin'. :) And in case you're wondering, yes... she does have a sexy voice. ;) hehehe

So last night in SL was my show at Club Densetsu. I was a tad concerned when I first arrived. It was just Anisa and me. But, when the time came for the event to start, it picked up pretty quick. At one point, we had about 25 ppl there. Ended up being a really good night, if I do say so myself. :)

Tonight is my FAVORITE night in SL. First off, I have a 4:30-6:30 show at the Dunes. It's their Grand Opening. It should be a blast! Then at 7:00... well... you know what happens at 7:00 on Friday nights... BEACH PARTY!!! That's right, it's our weekly McCallister Beach Party that we hold in conjunction with the Junkyard. It should be a friggin' blast!! :)

Well, as you may already know, I'll be out of town Sunday, Monday and Tuesday of next week, so no gigs on those days. I am taking my laptop with me so I can get in SL and I'll have my headset with me so I can skype too. Although, there is an awards show on Monday night with an open bar. Hmmm... open bar or SL?? Decisions, Decisions... hehehe

Well, I have a lot to do before I leave on Sunday so I need to get back at it. Ya'll have a WONDERFUL day and an AMAZING weekend and I'll talk to you soon!!
