"Daddy, I want purple icing all over it. Then I want yellow lace fru fru
stuff on the sides with Happy Birthday and my name on top. Then I want
green grass on it with an elephant, a lion, a tiger, and a giraffe on the
grass. I don't want them painted on there, I want the little plastic ones
so I can lick the icing off their feet."
LMAO! She cracks me up! Stormy called & ordered the cake and all the lady at the bakery could say was "well... ok then." LOL! We had to run all over the place last night looking for the animals to go on top, but we finally got all of them except the elephant. She'll have to settle for a big gorilla instead. I'll tell her it's me. LOL
So as a tradition on each of my daughter's birthday, the birthday girl goes shopping & to dinner with Nana (my mom), and the other daughter goes on a date with dad. So I got to spend last night with my oldest daughter, Cast Iron (she's just like me, lol). We had a great time. Part of the tradition is that we go to Build-A-Bear and build something for the birthday girl. This year, she picked out the Lots O'Luck special edition bear. She named it Paddy O'Leary.... how cute is that?? We also had dinner at Ruby Tuesday's before heading out on our quest for safari animals with lickable feet. lol After we got home, we cuddled and laughed until it was time for me to DJ. She read for a while, gave me a big hug & kiss and then headed off to bed.
Cast Iron is an amazing little girl. Her personality is absolute joy & light. She's really easy going, very loving and tender hearted, is one of the smartest kids I've ever met, and her sense of humor is 10 years older than it should be. OMG! The card she bought her sister is hilarius. It says "You were sent down from heaven to be my sister..." "What got you kicked out?" LMAO! The really funny part is, that fits Wrought Iron perfectly. LOL
Wrought Iron's personality is totally different. She is VERY energetic (hyper fits better) and she is a total clown. She keeps everyone in stitches all the time with her goofyness. She is very smart too, but has a tough time staying focused sometimes. Her brain works like mine and focusing on one thing is sometimes pretty hard to do.
Both of my daughters are absolutely incredible. I don't know what I did to deserve such wonderful kids, but I'm glad I did. They are the light of my life and I love them more than anything.
So last night, we packed out our weekly party again. All you could see on the dance floor was name tags. It was totally packed out. I have no idea what was going on in chat, I had at least 1/2 dozen IMs going at any given time with requests coming in. We ran until 1AM SL time (3AM our time) before heading to bed... and even then, we left at least a dozen or so people there. lol As usual, it was a HUGE hit. :)
On a more sad note, stormy and I want to wish our condolences to Breanne Blackhawk. Her mother has been ill for some time, and passed away late last night (early this morning). Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, Breanne.
Have a great day everyone!!
