SHAWEET!! I have to admit, last night was one of the BEST nights I've had in a while. We were at the Junkyard, which is like my 2nd home, playing some of the absolute best blues ever recorded. Everyone was having a great time and for once, I was able to pay attention to general chat. Usually I'm so slammed by music requests, TP requests, and such that I don't get to pay a lot of attention to general chat. I still had some of that last night, but it wasn't quote so busy. Still, there were over 50 ppl at the show and even with all the lag, everyone was having a great time. Thanks SOOO much to each & every one of you that came out. I couldn't ask for a better group of people to put on a show for and just hang out with. Ya'll ROCK!!
This morning, I did get a sad email. It seems as though a good friend of mine is leaving SL. I hope it's only temporary while they sort some personal issues out. If you're reading this, know that I'm thinking about you and hoping for the best.
But, all this does cause me to think back on the past year in SL (WOW! I'm almost a year old! hehe). There have been a lot of people come in & out of my life, both SL & RL friendships have been made and lost and some people that were very close to me, even if it was just in SL, have gone. Those people have been some of the building blocks that have made me who I am today. I thank each and every one of them... wherever they are in the world, real life or second life.
Ok, enough with the sappy. For those of you who actually read the weekly schedule, you know that tonight is Vegas Night at Tamique Island. So, get your Vegas on and come hang out with us while I play an.... ummm... well... let's call it "eclectic" play list tonight. :) See you at 7 PM SL!
