Another Weekend... Come & Gone....

Yes, another weekend has come & gone... And I survived... barely. lol

Friday night was great! Stormy came home!! WOOHOO!! I had missed the hell out of her.

Ok, so we got on SL and I got ready for the nightly events. First off, I had a private party that started at 6SL & ran until 11SL. Then, the Junkyard was supposed to start at 7SL but stormy hosted it at the actual Junkyard so no DJ there. Then, the ER gig started at 9SL so I simulcasted between there & the private party. I tried to get a lil fun competition going on by seeing which party would be the most fun. It turned out pretty well and they both were requesting & having a good time. Later that night, I think there may have been a mis-communication somewhere because I just got cutoff at the ER. Mid-song... didn't even get to say bye to everyone. Kinda sucked. I'm gonna talk to Cas about it. Within 2 minutes, the entire ER cleared out. From 20 or so ppl to zero. The majority of them going to Jen Blackhawk's shop opening, which is where I went for a lil' bit before going to bed.

Saturday, we slept until after noon. lol Then we got on SL & I went shopping for some clothes and for an office. Thinking about setting up an office in SL where I can point people to for more info about my DJing. So later that afternoon, Anisa IM'd me and was wondering if we'd have a bachelorette party for Lysandra. We did. :) Stormy and Marcy decorated and I ran the tunes. I had a one hour gig at the ER at 8SL for their 2 year anniversary. I had talked to Cas earlier in the day and since it was only an hour gig, we decided to play jazz & blues. It was AWESOME! Everyone LOVED it! I was also simulcasting to the island & after my set at the ER, we kept the theme on the island. We partied there until around 1AM SL. lol

Sunday was an AWESOME day. It was Lysandra & GiGi's wedding. It was beautiful!! and I was SO happy... the music went off great and everybody kept commenting on how great it was. :) I just sat & smiled the whole time. :) I wish Lysandra & GiGi all the best. I hope they had as much fun at their wedding as I did. :)

After the wedding, I shut down all the music stuff and called myself done for the weekend. I had done enough DJing lol. It seems like that's all I did this weekend. I had friends IMing me wanting to do stuff but couldn't because I was either DJing or working on the playlist. So, to all of you... I'm sorry. You know I still love ya... Don't forget me. :)

Ok, this week... unless something changes I'll be at the ER for happy hour (5-7SL) on Tues. & Thurs. and then my regular gig on Friday night. As of right now, I don't know of anything going on the rest of the weekend. That's cool though, I have the girls this weekend so I'll be doing something with them and may not even be on SL that much.

Ok, it's already 10:30 my time so I need to get to work I reckon. I'm slacking today & need to get on the ball.
