Da Blues!

Oh yeah, that's right... Da Blues were in tha house last night. Well... ok, the blues and jazz. So the original deal that Cas & I had worked out wast that I was going to do an hour of Blues/Jazz from 6-7SL last night after Knoxx got them warmed up & crankin' from 5-6. So I get there in time to hear the last few songs of Knoxx's set. He plays some stuff I just never would have thought about. Very good set. You should check him out if you get a chance.

So anyway, I'm approaching the end of what I think was an AWESOME set and I start talking to Cas about her taking over the stream since the movies are about to start. She says that there isn't anyone showing up for the movies. I ask her did she want me to keep playing until the crowd built up. She said that'd be great... so I kept playing.... Until 9SL. :) It was quite fun and it seems as though people had a good time.

So Cas & I talked some more and tonight, we're gonna have 2 hours of Jazz. Then on Thursday, we're going to do 2 hours of Blues. All during Happy Hour (5-7SL). Then on Friday night, I'll do my regular set of whatever comes to mind. :)

I can't believe the turnout last night. It was GREAT! First off, I got to dance all night with the lovely illie. She's so light on her feet... ;) Thanks for the dance darlin'. I had a blast. :) I also got to see & talk to the wonderful Brigid. Allways great to see her & talk to her. There's a special place in my heart for her. Then there was Siennah... lawrd.. that girl... she kept me in stitches all night. She's absolutely hilariuos. OH!! and I know who her boyfriend is!! If it price is right... I'll tell ya. ;) LOL

I also picked up a new gig yesterday. It's at a strip club and I start on Wednesday. It's going to be every Monday & Wednesday from 5-7. We'll see how it goes & I may pick up some more dates later.

Well, I guess that's about it in the "life of Iron". Now it's time for RL to rear it's ugly head. Guess I better get busy. See you in world!!
