Gettin' My Goth On.....

Oh yeah... last night was friggin' AWESOME!!!

So I get home just a fizzle after the grid came back online. Surprisingly, everything was working pretty well. So I get on & I start answering IMs from people about my DJing. Then I made my first group notice to the Iron Clad Radio group to send all my groupies a notecard about the upcoming events this weekend. If you're not an Iron Clad Radio Groupie... IM me in world so you can keep up with what's going on too.

Ok, so after I send it, I'm sitting there talking to some friends via IM when it comes in.... a group notice from Kibo... it's GOTH NIGHT!!! WOOHOO!!! I was so excited. lol So I talk illie into going with me. I get ready... I'm so excited... it's still a lil' before the event so I head over to the ER. There were only a couple of people there. Cas didn't like that look on Iron. lol Hell, I don't know anybody but me that does. LOL

So it comes time for the event to start and I head to the club. It's not there. They've moved. So I IM Lysandra to get a TP. I make it to the club and holy smokes..... horrendous lag is an understatement. Not only that, but they have scripts turned off so none of my stuff is working... my stalker scanner, my dance chim... nothing. So I had to dance on their ball and OMG... it sucks. The dance is one of those weird, jerky dances & I look like I'm having a flailing fit. Then, they get the music started... it's goth night, right? What do I hear? Christina Aguilera. So I TP illie and we're dancing (trying to) and talking with everyone and I'm tipping the girls. The lag and other stuff starts to get to me.... and illie.... so I tip Lysandra one more time and illie & I head out. She took me to a really cool castle that I don't remember the name of and as we're looking around, somehow we get off on the subject of dragons. Maybe it's her pet dragon on her lil' goth shoulder, I don't remember. Anyway, we go shopping for dragons.

We never found the big dragons that we've seen & heard about but we did find their sim. Started with a W. Don't remember the entire name. Anyway, it was really cool. They had dragon eggs (thought those were the vendors, they weren't). We wondered around the sim looking for dragons & checking it all out. It was pretty cool. We found their party area too. Looked like a typical club... dance balls, 'sploder, etc... Who knew that dragons liked to listen to trance? lol

After that, we roamed around some more and had a great time and some awesome conversation. :) illie is an awesome person... I'm privilege just to know her, much less call her a friend. Thanks illie.

RL was pretty good too yesterday. It was wing & trivia day. I won 3 games out of 4. Oh yeah... I rock. ;) I also talked to my BEST SL buddy via "comment chat" lol. She has some awesome ideas about my DJing & stuff. And she comes up with some of the BEST slogans. You rock Brigid. :)

Ok, so guess what I bought yesterday.... http://www.ironcladradio.com. How cool is that? I'm gonna make it the official site. It's going to have pictures from gigs, a calendar, listener testimonials and other stuff on it. It'll take me a couple of weeks to get it all setup, but once I do, it's going to be really cool. :)

Well, time to get to work. Only got one boss here today. Too bad it's not the good one. lol
