Stayin' Alive

Happy Tuesday!! Ok, so yesterday was a holiday for most people, but not for us. I had to work. So to all you slackers out there.... Bite Me. :P hehehe

So, as you probably know, stormy is out of town & probably will be all week this week. So what did I do last night? Well, the same thing I would have done if she had been home... got on SL. LOL

So the night started pretty normal, I did my weekly shopping spree to hit MIA for the free Monday item (couple of shirts, not too shabby looking), then on to :FORM: and [R]enegade. My new buddy illie went to a couple of stores with me before a friend of hers invited her to go dancing. It was a gay (guy) bar. She wasn't happy... she wasn't very popular there. LOL

While shopping, I started talking to Lysandra via IM. I must say, I love that gal. She's absolutely incredible. GiGi is such a lucky girl. I can't wait to DJ their wedding. I just hope I don't screw it up, lol. Anyway, so while talking to her, I find out she's dancing so I agree to go watch her & throw massive amounts of cash at her. I also find out that they are having problems with their music stream so I agree to DJ for them. Then I find out... it's disco night. Oh yeah, that's right... Iron had to play 2 hours of disco. LOL Ya know I really love Lys now.... I wouldn't play disco for just anybody... especially 2 hours worth. LOL It ended up being a lot of fun. I had a great time and got to flirt with all the georgous dancers there. I gotta be careful when DJing at strip clubs though... I tipped more than I was tipped. LOL I did the gig for tips instead of charging rate because they were in such a bind with their music. I figured hey, it'd get me some exposure. It did. Looks like I may have another house warming party coming up. We'll see.

So after the club, illie & I went shopping for a bit. This time for her. She got a really cute butterfly outfit. Afterwards, it was getting close to bed time for me so instead of going to a club or something, I took her to our island & gave her a tour. We were in Delta House talking about flying & falling and I asked her if she'd ever been skydiving. She hadn't. So... we went. OMG! I love doing that. LOL It's SO MUCH fun!! We had a blast falling, and sometimes splatting on the ground. lol I must say, she did look pretty cute skydiving in high heels. lol Somehow we ended up in the water below the skydiving platform where she showed me her mermaid outfit. Hubba Hubba. That's all I got to say about that. ;)
