Best Thursday All Week!!

Welcome to Thursday! Ain't it great??

So last night was awesome. It was Hollywood Night at Tamique and everyone came dressed as their favorite movie characters. There was Cartman, a cabaret gal from Moulin Rouge, a VERY sexy Mary Jane Parker (Spider Man's wife), a VERY sultry Catwoman and who could forget the Three Amigos?? There were a ton of others there too, but you know me & my camera... I never have it setup so I can see anybody up close. I was dressed up as Iron Man, but I kept my shades and cigar. You know me... I can't go anywhere without them. LOL I don't know what it is about that island, but it always has music problems. Very strange. Once we got the music issues "Ironed" out, everything went great. In my opinion, it was one of the best nights we've had at Tamique so far. Next week is Jazz Night. I hope Maci can make it. I'll be playing some of her music along with everything else.

Lysandra was back!! YAY!! Lawrd I've been missing that girl. I can understand why she's been away, but she has been missed. It was SO good to see her again, especially at the show. Love ya Lys!

So tonight is back to the House of Tunes. I finally got around to checking out all the sim changes yesterday. It's pretty cool if you're into the motorcycle thing. I don't get into that in SL, so I'm just there for the tunes. :) However, I would HIGHLY recommend that you check out the Blues Museum that they're putting on the sim. VERY cool stuff in there. If you've been to HoT, you've no doubt seen Reelou there. She was probably hanging around with Bung. Anyway, on my roaming yesterday, I ran into Bung and he was telling me that Reelou is in the hospital in RL. Not sure of her condition, but he did know that she was in ICU. So when you can, take a minute and say a lil' prayer for her recovery.

So tonight we're back to the roots... it's Blues Night!! I'm sure I'll end up playing some classic rock as well, but at the JY & HoT, my main focus is the blues.

Ok, so several people have been driving me crazy wanting to know about the big concert coming up. Here's your clues so far:

1. The sub-title of the show: "The Music That Molded A Mind"
2. The Date: August 18th
3. It's not just one person performing.

Ok, that's all you get for the next few days. A few of you have already guessed it, but I ain't telling you who you are or what you guessed that was correct. You gotta wait. :)
