Hump Day Hoorah!!

Ahhh... Wednesday... What a day.  Not only is the week half over, but August is here! Holy smokes!! Wow... only 17 days left until the big show!!

So last night was the Junkyard and WOW!  What a show!  I'm telling ya, that has to be one of the best shows all week. The people, the music, the atmosphere... if ya ain't been, ya need to. Plus, come on a night when I'm playing and you'll hear Kiff's new theme song "Junkyardman".  Some of the other Junkyard DJs are wanting copies of it so they can play it too, so ya'll don't forget where it came from.  ;) hehe

Tonight is Hollywood Night at Tamique. So come dressed as your favorite movie character.  I have to admit... my costume is quite fitting.  LOL

Yesterday was Buddy Guy's 71st birthday and today is Robert Cray's birthday.  If you don't know who either of them are, come to one of my blues shows and I'll introduce you. I'll just about guarantee you'll like them. :)

So I saw this quote this morning and I just had to post it.  It's by Tallula Bankhead. She was an actress from Alabama about 80 years ago.  Anyway, here's the quote:
